Megha Agarwal, Executive Director, The Monarch Foundation & The Bridge Project
Megha Agarwal is the Executive Director at The Monarch Foundation. She oversees foundation operations and all portfolios – including Monarch’s pregnancy & early childhood grantmaking portfolio and its climate grantmaking and investment portfolios. She is also the co-founder and Executive Director of The Bridge Project, New York City’s first guaranteed income program, designed to support new, low-income mothers during the first 1,000 days of their babies’ lives with unconditional cash. The Bridge Project’s first and second phases are fully funded by The Monarch Foundation. Megha represents the foundation on the Steering Committee of the Early Childhood Partners NYC Collaborative, in the Early Childhood Funders Collaborative, and in the CREO Syndicate.
Prior to joining Monarch, Megha worked at McKinsey & Company where she primarily served social sector and philanthropic clients, as well as consumer and retail clients.
Megha graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS from The Wharton School and a certificate degree in Public Policy, and is a current member of South Asian Ladies Unite to Empower (SALUTE).
