
Laura Glaab, MyFriendBen
Laura Glaab is the Interim Chief Executive Officer of MyFriendBen. She is an accomplished education and technology leader whose career spans classrooms, boardrooms, and global impact initiatives. A former educator and school principal in Texas, Colorado, Argentina, and India, Laura pairs deep on-the-ground experience with strategic leadership at the intersection of education, business, and technology. She earned her MA at Stanford and then an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and went on to help scale Amira Learning from an early-stage AI tutoring start-up. As a marketing and revenue leader in the EdTech sector, she has steered growth strategies and spearheaded multiple grant-supported initiatives in AI and education. Laura combines classroom empathy with executive acumen to build systems that expand opportunity. Joining this initiative with MFB honors her late grandmother, a lifetime teacher who suffered from dementia at the end of her life.
