Northwest Workers’ Justice Project (NWJP) has been named the recipient of EOF’s 2022 Law & Social Policy Legacy Award. For decades NWJP has championed Oregon’s low-wage, immigrant, and contingent community through litigation, policy advocacy, and support for worker organizing, outreach, and education. Join us for a one-on-one conversation with NWJP Director, Corinna Spencer-Scheurich, to learn more about their work to achieve justice for low-wage workers as they advocate on their own behalf and how they bring their deep grassroots and local experience to the national stage.
Launched in 2021, the Law & Social Policy Award recognizes organizations defending and advocating for low-wage workers’ rights. The $10,000 award will be given by EOF with support from the Public Welfare Foundation annually until 2030 as a part of its legacy investment in advancing workers’ rights.
